Are you an experienced Dewatering Fitter seeking a new opportunity to #unleashyourpotential in the WA Mining Industry?

One of our clients, a well-known entity in the Western Australian Mining Industry, is seeking the services of an experienced Dewatering Fitter to join the Chandler Macleod Team on their Site.

The main duties of this role include:

  • Carry out fault-finding, diagnosis and repair of damaged pumps and all dewatering infrastructure
  • Routine servicing and breakdown maintenance of fleet of Diesel generators and pumps
  • Assist in moving and installing pumps as required
  • Completion of service reports and identification of parts requirements and time confirmations
  • Liaising with planning group to ensure planned maintenance schedule is implemented
  • Providing safe, effective and timely mechanical maintenance and fuelling on all equipment

  • Successful candidates will have the following experience:
  • Substantial experience in mining production or operational oriented heavy industrial environment
  • 30kva to 500kva generator experience
  • Diesel powered skid pumps
  • Experience with Shutdown and engine protection systems
  • 12V and 24V electrical experience
  • Submersible pump experience

Candidates must also be able to:

  • Diesel or Light Trade Certificate essential
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screen
  • Provide a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one
  • Provide a current WA Drivers Licence
