Chandler Macleod is currently recruiting for an experienced Delivery and Employer Engagement Officer to join a leading Federal Government agency. This is an immediate start with a contract term to end on the 31st August 2021 with the possibility of extending beyond this date.

Key Accountabilities:
Key responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting and supporting projects, including processing and assessing submissions, ensuring compliance with contracts and guidelines, monitoring the performance of the
    projects, liaising with stakeholders, providing secretariat and administration functions.
  • Ensuring positive stakeholder management and assurance activities.
  • Providing technical research and analysis.
  • Managing and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conducting performance reporting and providing data analysis to support program management

About You:
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following capabilities/experience and/or qualifications:


  • The ability to build positive, collaborative working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders (including employers) and anticipate and respond to diverse stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including strong representational skills and the ability to provide clear and accurate advice to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sound analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, program guidelines and contractual frameworks and provide evidence-based advice.
  • Initiative, flexibility and a demonstrated capacity to solve problems and work effectively with others.


  • An understanding of contemporary labour market challenges.
    Understanding of government processes.
  • Experience in contract and/or project management.
  • Experience with reporting and data analysis.
