Customer Service Officer

We are currently seeking an experience Customer Service Officer who is willing to respond to customers over a variety of contact channels including high-volume inbound call centre, email, social media, live chat and face to face!

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Provide a solution focussed customer experience across multiple functions within a customer service team.
  • Proactively promote programs and services, triage and check-in customers using the QLESS queuing system, , and respond to all visitor enquiries to ensure a unique customer experience that is welcoming, seamless , and memorable.
  • Act as a solutions focused customer experience specialist to resolve customer enquiries and complaints.
  • Promote, encourage and support customers to use self-service kiosks and/or online website facilities as an alternative more convenient method to complete their enquiry or transaction.
  • Utilise technology and Smart Mobile Devices (SMDs) to enquire, record, and manage customer enquiries/requests.
  • Ensure project objectives are met by anticipating and managing potential and emerging issues.
  • Promote ideas and keep abreast of new ideas, thinking and products.
  • Any other duties as requested in line with the requirements to meet the need

Other Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience working in a customer services role in dynamic, high volume, multi-channel environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal and active listening, with the ability to adapt style and approach to meet customer needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of customers
  • Proven ability to learn and utilise multiple computer programs to provide accurate, consistent and complete information or solutions to customers
  • National Criminal History Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Completion of secondary education plus:
  • o a degree or diploma with little relevant work experience; or
  • o lesser qualifications with relevant work skills; or
  • o relevant experience
