The Role:
Miele are looking to expand their team of Customer Service Consultants located at their Scoresby Contact Centre. You will be working on the general Inbound Customer Enquiries line. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a role and build your career with the Miele brand that prides themselves continuous improvement of their products and services for their customers.
As a customer service consultant, you will provide first call resolution to customers calling with varied enquiries and provide excellent service via phone and email. Resilient, positive and eager to learn, you will have demonstrated experience working in a high-volume customer service setting.
Your responsibilities will incorporate:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, this may be customer facing, phone based and within varying industries.
- Call Centre specific experience is highly regarded however we are open to candidates from different working history backgrounds.
- Demonstrated high level of resilience
- Professional verbal and written communication etiquette
- Exceptional problem solving and negotiation skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Proven ability to meet KPI’s
- Proven reliability in previous employment
- Demonstrated team mentality – working together and supporting each other to provide the best experience for customers and the team working around you

Eligible for WFH from 3 months, subject to leader approval based on performance, support requirements and proficiency The successful candidates must be able to work 37.5 hours over a 6 days rotating roster. Rotating roster spanning hours of 8am-7pm inclusive of 1 Saturday 9am-5pm every 4 weeks. The training for this position will commence on Monday the 19th of June 2023 and will be based at the Miele MCCC Office in Scoresby. Training is full time hours Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm for around 4 weeks. The 4 weeks training will include 2 weeks classroom, 2 weeks supported in the job. For the first 4 weeks candidates will be on the phone (6-week mark), moving into rotating roster after that.
The interviews with Miele will be the week of Monday 29th of May and verbal acceptance of candidates by June 2nd to allow for contracts and IT process.
Please note that you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered and you will be required to have a reliable car. You must also undergo security checks such as a National Police Clearance if you are chosen as a successful candidate.
