Position Overview

Our client's office is in Mona Vale, on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, and have offices in Melbourne and Hobart. They specialise in radiant heating solutions, where they:

  • Market, develop, design and distribute heating products and systems to customers around Australia;
  • Manufacture many of our products in-house; and
  • Install floor-heating systems across Greater Sydney

Our client is seeking a Customer Service & Admin Representative to provide a high level of customer service to their customers by handling general and specific enquiries, preparing of quotations and sales orders, providing general and basic technical support as well as other various administrative tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming general customer enquiries. Answer incoming phone calls, emails, post and faxes. Send out letters and marketing materials as required. Direct incoming calls to the appropriate staff member. Handle walk in clients and credit card payments.
  • Receive incoming quotation requests, understand customer requirements, measure areas, design heating systems, prepare and send out quotation documentation, follow up with customers, prepare sales orders, and other tasks associated with getting quotations accepted by our customers.
  • Handle general and basic technical questions from customers wherever possible including thermostat programing inquiries.
  • Carry out general admin tasks as and when required, including purchase orders, supplier invoices, shipping documentation, banking, post duties, scanning and filing of FHA paperwork.
  • Ensure excellence in work ethic and day-to-day interaction with customers, staff and suppliers is reflected through core company values including openness, integrity and teamwork.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • 3 To 5 years' experience in Similar Role
  • High level computer skills, including MS Office and the ability to navigate database systems
  • ERP System Experience - Highly Regarded but not mandatory
  • Relationship building skill with both internal and external stakeholders
