Your new role
As an inbound Customer Service Banker you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and bringing your unique personality to every call. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Answering inbound calls from personal customers about a range of simple to complex enquiries.
  • Efficiently navigating through a variety of banking systems and tools.
  • Identifying, addressing and resolving general inquiries from customers.
  • A strong focus on first call resolution and availability to talk to customers when scheduled.
  • To provide existing customers and prospects with correct information regarding National products and services.
  • Identify cross sell opportunities when assessing customers financial needs and refer to the appropriate specialists.
  • Ensure all personal training records are maintained and kept up to date.
  • Adherence to Industry Code of Practice is paramount.

This is a 6-month temporary assignment with the view to extend or go permanent and your hourly rate will be $29.59 & super. You will be working an average of 37.5 hours a week. You will be working on a rotating roster between the hours of 8 am and 9:00 pm Monday to Friday and on a rare occasion, will be asked to swap out a weekday shift to work on a Saturday (9am - 6pm). This role will be based at Wantirna South VIC 3152 and free onsite parking will be available. It will be a hybrid working arrangement from home and in the office.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a real passion for providing first class customer service; able to listen to the customer's needs whilst operating various systems at one time, you will have outstanding communication skills and the desire to work towards individual targets and team goals. Being resilient and able to ask probing questions is a must. Your ability to work flexibly on a rotational roster whilst maintaining high levels of adherence to breaks is critical to your success as is your professional image to all customers and prospects at every interaction.
