Chandler Macleod is currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Information Officer to join a leading Federal Government agency. This is an immediate start with a contract term of 12 months.
Based in Macquarie Park, this agency is comprised of numerous integrated divisions that are focused on achieving community outcomes across the state.

Key Accountabilities:
The Customer Interface Land Information Officer is responsible for assisting the Customer Interface Land Information team in administering and coordinating the timely preparation and responses to various stakeholders in a timely manner.
Further to this, you will be required to:

  • Assist in reviewing development applications to ensure they do not compromise current and future projects.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project requirements for land and development consents by obtaining input from relevant internal stakeholders, to ensure accurate and well considered responses.
  • Collaborate with other precincts to build a consistent approach to property land enquiries, response to development applications, CRR enquiries, as landowner and consenting authority.
  • Maintain accurate administration and record keeping to build on knowledge bank and diligent record keeping, continuously capturing lessons-learnt statewide to ensure consistent service improvement in managing and responding to external customer enquires.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you will be a team player, highly organised and motivated with a demonstrated ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines. Further to this, to be considered for the role you will also need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in property, engineering, planning and development, environmental science or other appropriate discipline.
  • Knowledge of relevant NSW Government planning legislation, Roads Act 1993, Transport Administration Act.
  • Proven experience in integrated road transport and urban planning and/or development-related traffic impact assessment and understanding of State Significant and minor multi-modal transport infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in managing large volume of customer enquiries with critical time constraints and specific legislative requirements and compliances.
