Chandler Macleod is working with a leading organisation who currently have an exciting employment opportunity for an information Centre Coordinator to oversee the operations of the Cultural and Environmental and Information Centre for a temporary 4-month position.

The purpose of this position is to establish, lead, manage and coordinate the activities of Rous' Cultural Environmental and Information Centre, working in partnership with staff and external stakeholders, to ensure the smooth operation of the Centre and delivery of operational and strategic objectives.

As the Centre Coordinator you will have proven skills and experience in the following.

  • Tertiary qualification in tourism or related discipline, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • 5-7 years management experience in marketing, promotion or the tourism industry including financial management.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills and experience in addressing external and internal key stakeholders, committees and workshops.
  • Demonstrated practical experience in customer focused customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience liaising with industry to implement marketing and development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement project management plans and analyse and report on outcomes.
  • Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy in the Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Excel and Word).
  • Knowledge and understanding of the role and responsibilities under the WHS Act 2011.
