The Chandler Macleod Shared Services division incorporates, Accounts Payable, Invoicing, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Client setup and Query Resolutions, and is one of the most critical functions of the company although often the least publicised. The people and services provided by this group are quiet achievers who deliver important financial services which significantly impact the overall performance of the company. Good people, processes and structure is the key to the success of our Shared Services team.

The Credit Officers Primary responsibility is to ensure the client is compliant to agreed trading terms. Additional responsibilities of this role include the co-ordination and timely delivery of customer focussed services, with respect to the collection and client procedures in place. Standard credit collections will also form part of duties as and when necessary (depending on the account). Effective communication skills will be needed in problem solving discrepancies, addressing client queries timely and assisting the Resolutions team as required

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Proactive and self motivated
  • Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail being priority
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Great Plains and Microsoft Office products advantage as well as the ability to pick up new CRM's quickly
  • Escalation processes
  • Payroll knowledge
  • Maintaining correct information for clients (GP, contacts, TOB's, addressees)
  • Willingness to work as part of a team but also able to work autonomously
