Our client is seeking to engage a Contracts Manager on a permanent role.

About the Role:

The position also assumes responsibility in the support, preparation and coordination of quality, accurate proposals and tenders to optimize success rate whilst focusing on market trends, budget guidelines, and requirements of potential new clients. This also includes the structure and preparation of costings and memos to executive management.

Proposals and Tenders

  • Prepare professional proposals and responses to Request for Tender and Request for Information documentation.
  • Prepare professional proposals and responses to Request for Tender and Request for Information documentation, including adherence to corporate standards for branding and visual/document preparation and production.
  • Maintain corporate standards for branding and visual/document preparation and production
  • Attend scheduled meetings as required to investigate new business opportunities with existing and potential new clients. Set action plans and agreed timelines.
  • Prepare and deliver professional, accurate and informative visual presentations using electronic resources.
  • Analyse financial data and implement into proposal/tender documents in graphic forms that are easily interpreted and validated.
  • Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the methodology used in the costing of new projects and the application of such a methodology (including rostering).
  • Consult with the Operations team when preparing proposal/ tender documents on matters regarding budgeting for staffing levels at proposed new sites or during the renewal process for existing sites.


  • Generate monthly activities reports to senior management on all business development activity (including number of client contacts and meetings, number of Proposals/Tenders submitted, status of outstanding bids, competition trends in the marketplace) and industry developments.
  • Contribute to the achievement of budgets and targets, including the accurate and timely performance recording and reporting of results figures and other information as required.
  • Monitor the realisation of revenue and budgets targets forecast during the proposal process.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience at a mid to senior management level with exposure to commercial services, business strategy and planning and / or business development. Experience in parking or parking related industries is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Highly proficient skills across the Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Extensive experience in proposal/tender preparation.
  • Demonstrated high levels of competency in numeracy, verbal and written communications.
  • Skilled in communicating with people at all levels.
  • Strong networking capabilities
  • High level negotiating and closing skills.
  • Extensive experience in survey and analysis of competitor sites
  • High level marketing skills and experience.
  • Strong planning, organising and implementation skills.
  • Lateral thinker able to provide new solutions, with demonstrated competence in situation analysis and decision making.
  • Extensive experience in the principles of rostering, cost analysis and resource control
