We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Advisor for a major mining client in the Bowen Basin, reputed for its outstanding working environment and exciting job opportunities. The role offers a competitive remuneration package for the right candidate.

The role is responsible for supporting Contract/Vendor Owners in the practical implementation of the Contractor Management Framework for contractors engaged to perform work on site.

Your responsibilities:

  • Advise internal stakeholders on a suitable course of action with regards to sourcing, engagement and performance management of contract partners
  • Onboard and maintain any required contract partners
  • Develop, complete and maintain work scopes and risk assessments
  • Facilitate communication channels for contract partners at site
  • Coordinate issues, settlement & disputes with Supply & Contract Owners/Superintendents
  • Schedule, facilitate, record and distribute meetings
  • Document management and record-keeping
  • Draft Correspondence for Site-Specific changes to Contract
  • Review and monitor contract KPI's

Required experience:

  • Experienced in Commercial contracts/ Internal auditing
  • Experienced working with Safety Management Systems
  • Experienced using Microsoft Office
  • Motivated to work and have a good attitude
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team
