Chandler Macleod currently has an exciting Contracting Service Officer role available in the Benalla region. The Contracting Service Officer will be mainly responsible for daily inputting and processing of project contracts whilst ensuring finance and administration requirements are adhered to.
If successful in this role you will be responsible for
- Inputs to internal system with financial data, keeping timely and accurate records and receipts for all transactions
- Assist with/participate in financial audits
- Monitor and manage Accounts Payable system
- Raise and receipt Purchase Orders for items required
- Develop an understanding of the contract’s requirements
- Lead administrative elements of plant/motor vehicle management and administration
- Aid operational compliance in respect of sub-contractor onboarding and site permissions
- Key point of contact for other departments on finance-administration matters
- Implement and ensure compliance of all relevant existing & new policies, procedures and regulations including SharePoint usage and ISO55000 accreditation
- Supporting the Business Manager, Contract Services Area Manager & the operational leads/managers with projects and tasks when required providing a great customer experience
- Maintain DM Roads reputation and relationship with partners, clients, and stakeholders

- Have strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
- Be detailed oriented and able to evaluate information quickly, identifying key issues and formulate conclusions based on accurate practical judgement and experience
