About the Role
The Partner Contracts Branch manages the sourcing of new Partners, contract management for Partners and reviews contract terms and conditions to ensure they align with policy and legal requirements. The branch monitors and manages partner performance and provides advice on Partner contracts to ensure the services delivered are timely, cost effective and of high quality. Managing contracts with Partners ensures ongoing value and scheme sustainability of the Partner Program.

The Contracts Administrator will provide high level administrative and contract management support. The position is responsible for records administration, data consolidation and other contract related tasks, and provide high level customer service to internal and external stakeholders. The position will assist with ongoing contract management activities under direction and manage competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy.

The Duties of the role

  • Providing high level administrative support including timely correspondence, preparing meeting minutes and providing secretariat support.
  • Drafting contracts, proof reading contract letters and managing the Contracts Register.
  • Managing the Partners inbox, and allocation of workflow.
  • Managing record keeping and ensuring that all legislative and policy requirements are met.
  • Undertaking partner establishment, performance management and reporting, contract administration, variations and extensions management and contract close out activities.
  • Monitoring and driving performance and compliance including tracking delivery to agreement milestones, updating Partner dashboards and reporting.
  • Managing risk on an ongoing basis and taking corrective action when issues arise.
  • Attending meetings and calls as a representative on agreement matters and effectively advocating the position of the Organisation

Key requirements

  • Existing experience in contract administration is essential.
  • Experience within the Public Sector is highly regarded
  • Stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to support the delivery of government programs.
  • Excellent time management, planning and efficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
