Contact Centre Officer

  • Frankston based
  • 12 month fixed term contract (Part time and full time hours available)
  • Part time hours will be expected to work a minimum 20 hours with the potential to pick up additional hours


Chandler Macleod is proud to partner with our client, South East Water, to assist with recruiting for their Corporate Call Centre based in Frankston. South East Water provide pivotal support for members of the community and are focused on providing resolutions for their customers. They provide an essential service and display a customer centric approach with a strong focus on sustainability for the future.

We are seeking candidates that will have the ability to work in an office-based role in Frankston. We are looking for candidates that are available to commit to a 12 month fixed term contract.
Candidates must be available to work on a rotating roster Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am - 6pm. We are ideally seeking candidates with a willingness to pick up extra shifts if required.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Call Centre Experience
  • Customer Service experience (face to face or phone based)
  • Ability to manage high volume inbound calls and email cases (the role will be predominantly phone based - over 90%)
  • Resolution skills
  • Strong Computer Literacy - must be technically minded and demonstrate ability to be comfortable with IT equipment set up and multiscreen use.
  • You must have strong customer empathy and be customer centric in your approach


Requirements from you:

  • Be available to work between 8am and 6pm, on a rotating shifts post training
  • Be fully available for 4 weeks of training. Training hours will typically be full time hours, Monday to Friday starting at 9am.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service to each caller
  • Demonstrated experience working towards KPI's
  • Demonstrate a customer centric approach
  • Personable phone manner


Candidates will need to undergo a background check which will include a National Police Check and the ability to provide either recent or current references based on your Call Centre or Customer Service working history.

The interview process will include an assessment centre online and individual interviews onsite at Frankston.

There is a start date of 18th July 2022 for training.
