A Construction Foreman is currently required to fill a vacancy within our Client's Orange operations. Our Client is a family owned and operated business who are leaders in the construction industry, specialising in Commercial Construction projects in the area.

The primary responsibility of the Foreman will be to provide site leadership and support to the construction team including apprentices, and lead by example showcasing their quality workmanship and skills within the construction specifications.

The duties of the Foreman will include:

  • Providing on-site leadership and support to the team
  • Reading drawings and plans
  • Taking measurements and calculating materials
  • Performing all aspects of carpentry works
  • Liaising with Clients, management and suppliers
  • Liaising with other trades on site

To be considered for this position, candidates will:
  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified carpenter
  • Have a high quality of workmanship and skill base
  • Have a positive knowledge of and attitude toward OHS policies and procedures
  • The ability to work within and lead a team, as well as work independently
  • Strong people skills with the ability to maintain and build a positive work culture
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • Have a high level of time management skills coupled with a strong work ethic
  • The ability to use initiative and prioritise tasks
  • Be well presented
