Our Client

Produces around 13 million tonnes of Iron Ore and Metallurgical coal each year through subsidiary Simec Mining. The company is a fully integrated and the only manufacture of rail in Australia. Iron Ore is mined in the Middleback range to feed the plant resulting in the distribution of finished steel products of over 90 different grades.

The Roles

We are currently recruiting for experienced Confined Space Watcher for both Liberty and Simec, if you are living in the Whyalla Region and have the following experience, we would love to hear from you.

Requirement:

Previous industry experience along with the following tickets is essential in this role, any additional tickets are welcome.

  • Red Lock

  • INX Inductions

  • Enter and Work in Confined Space

  • Work in Accordance with an issued permit

  • Observe Permit to work

  • Gas Test Atmospheres

  • Disposable Respirator Face Fit Test

  • White Card

  • Working at Heights

    We are looking for

  • Self-motivated and able to follow directions

  • Work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong commitment to Safety

  • Be reliable, hardworking and physically fit

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team

  • Hold a current class C licence an advantage

  • Flexibility to work across different shift patterns.

  • Must live local to Whyalla
