Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will work with a professional team who are all dedicated to making a different in the lives of their clients.

About the role:
  • Leading and supporting the Peer and Community Advisory team.
  • General operational duties to include leave approvals, staff rosters, travel requests and any OHS requirements. 
  • Workflow allocation.
  • Leading and participating in weekly team meetings.
  • Participating in the recruitment and selection of new team members.
  • Clinical governance and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate and participate in the activities of the Community Engagement Team.
  • Develop and implement the regions community engagement framework and strategy.
  • Design develop and monitor the community engagement practices in line with framework.
  • Working in partnership with a number of teams and stakeholders across the region to establish a community engagement strategy targeting a number of groups and cohorts.
  • Undertake direct provision of evidence informed clinical services, including intake, complex case management, case coordination, and facilitation of group programs.

About you:
  • You will have qualifications as a registered Psychologist/ Occupational Therapist /Mental Health Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration, OR
  • You will have qualifications as a Social Worker eligible for membership of the Australian Association Social Workers (AASW) and be eligible to apply for Mental Health accreditation.
  • You will have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA) or Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • You will have Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks or have it granted before commencing the role.
  • You will have experience in a similar clinical role.
  • You will have previous experience working in a community engagement capacity.

  • $55 to $65 per hour + super
