About the role:

  • Engaging with both internal and external stakeholders - including Commonwealth agencies, Minister's offices, state jurisdictions
  • Engaging with individuals and their families to understand their needs and support their ongoing care plans
  • Strategic planning and leadership within the community, to enhance local knowledge and participation
  • Working closely with service providers to build long term working relationships, working mutually towards a client centred approach
  • Representing the organisation at local forums and road shows

About you:

  • You will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the disability sector, and the impacts on individuals
  • You will have previous experience working with both internal and external stakeholders
  • You will have experience working with internal and external communications, policies and briefs
  • You will have intermediate to advanced PC skills, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
  • You will have excellent interpersonal skills and an unflappable nature when working under pressure

Benefits:

  • Temp contract to start ASAP
  • 12-month temporary assignment
  • Full time hours, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
  • Brisbane - north side location
  • $45.74 per hour + super
