Chandler Macleod is currently recruiting for an experienced Communications and Engagement Communications Manager to join a leading Federal Government agency. This is an immediate start with a contract term of 12 months. This position is based in Surry Hills with flexible working arrangement

Key Accountabilities:
In this position you will be expected to:

  • Provide strategic direction to project areas to drive behavioural change through Communications and Engagement with targeted content and engagement activities.
  • Provide advice and support to the Director within the project management framework including, strategic planning, reporting and forecasting to identify priority areas for communication and engagement.
  • Supporting leaders in driving organisational change and corporate culture in complex environments with the ability to quickly earn trust and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Developing and delivering best practice communication and engagement to staff with measurable impact.
  • Developing a range of internal and external accessible communication material including key message packs, articles, documents, web content, PowerPoint presentations and leadership
  • Experience working with change management, deliver behavioural change within agile project management methodology.
  • Manage staff and competing work priorities, identifying areas of overlap and key gaps and opportunities to refine and improve approaches.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you will be a team player, highly organised and motivated with a demonstrated ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines. Further to this, to be considered for the role you will also need:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar capacity.
  • Extensive knowledge of statutory, regulatory and policy frameworks relevant to a field od community and disability support services.
  • Experience in developing and implementing work plans, setting work area priorities and evaluating activities and working methods.
  • Great stakeholder engagement skills.
  • In-depth skill set in all MS suites.
