Our client, a leading Healthcare Facility, are seeking an experienced Communications and Content Officer to fill a six-month contract.

We are welcoming applications from candidates within the healthcare or public services sector, however, will consider candidates that bring the following experience:

Responsibilities include:

  • Contributes to the development and implementation of external and internal communication strategies.
  • Develops and manages content for multiple internal and external communications platforms including writing articles and scripts, video production and photography
  • Assists in providing advice to internal stakeholders on communication strategies and activities.
  • Develops and implements internal promotional campaigns.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of social media strategies.
  • Provides coordination and support for events and activities.
  • Assists with the creation and ongoing management of patient information.
  • Assists with the coordination of photo shoots, including taking photographs, and photo selection for communication activities.

Essential experience required

  • Proven experience in public relations/corporate communication activities including the use of contemporary digital/online communications platforms.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communications skills in the development of publications, articles, media statements and material for online environments.
  • Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in working as a member of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated conceptual and problems solving skills.

Desirable experience

  • Demonstrated digital and visual literacy proficiency, i.e. photography and video production.
  • Tertiary qualifications in public relations, journalism, media, communications or relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience in health or public service sector.
