Our client is seeking to engage a Communications & Change Manager on a contract for 5 months.

Position Overview

The purpose of this role is to execute and deliver high quality and well managed changes to consumers collateral and communications per the direction and guidance given by the item/campaign owners and the Senior Manager. The changes will be executed via a defined process as instructed via the senior manager. As a part of the transition, there will be exercise in changing all collateral and customer communications within the Consumer Bank.

This project is being managed by Digital Sales & Marketing AU - and we require support to mark up, manage and execute the necessary changes.

This role would suit a student / recent graduate or someone looking for experience working in a large organization, within a marketing team. Some experience is desirable, but the essential skills are a willingness to learn, follow a process, be task oriented and complete the actions required efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the senior manager to facilitate and implement change as identified within the change management plan.
  • Mark up all changes - in line with stakeholder requirements
  • Liaise with key stakeholders (Compliance, Product, Legal, Marketing) to ensure all necessary changes obtain the required sign-off and approval
  • Utilise systems to manage workflow and approvals across the bank
  • Utilise systems to execute changes and obtain all required approvals
  • Keep all necessary records of changes - via the appropriate records management policy / reporting guidelines
  • Appropriately engage stakeholders with matters relating to the creative process, positioning, copy

This is a communications and change execution role - responsible for delivering high quality and well managed changes to consumers collateral and communications - in line with product/campaign managers direction and feedback. There are thousands of items requiring change - so a task oriented, autonomous and fast paced individual would suit the role.

Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • Copywriting and mandatory communications experience
  • Experience working with desktop programs e.g. Microsoft office, including marking up in PDFs, and familiarity with workflow / work management tools
  • Work experience with a financial institution, service provider or similar would be desirable
  • Communications management experience
  • Experience working agile
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with a workflow tool such as Workfront, Asana, Trello or similar systems that coordinates work, approvals and updates across an organization
  • Experience with agile software (JIRA, CONFLUENCE) & agile methodology (Sprints, Scrums)
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or similar
  • Thrives in a fast paced, innovative, collaborative and commercial environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to follow a defined process, be task-focussed and willingness to learn
