Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Procurement and Contract Specialist on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • To assist the CTO Change Program in planning and developing strategies for procurement of key systems,
  • engage with Centralised Procurement Services , Legal and external advisors to plan and undertake procurements,
  • assist and provide advice to the CTO Change Program throughout all stages of procurements and contract negotiations,
  • assist and provide advice to the CTO Change Program in the development of procurement artefacts, and
  • provide specialist input to evaluation, negotiation and contract finalisation activities.
  • Management of the tender processes including specification, evaluation, reporting and negotiations
  • Creation of relevant documentation and associated products for publication on AusTender
  • Assist personnel to undertake contract management activities and provide skills transfer to staff to transition activity
  • Take a leadership role in negotiations and ensuring value for money over the lifetime of a contract
  • Provide mentoring and knowledge sharing staff
  • Work effectively in a small team environment
  • Record and maintain files/information in accordance with requirements a changing environment to deliver high-quality advice and outcomes.
