Chandler Macleod are seeking on behalf of our client an experienced Clinical Activity Analyst for a permanent role based in Port Macquaire NSW

The purpose of the position is to provide technical advice and support in the design and ongoing development of the data governance and performance reporting system. This includes provision of robust, reliable and meaningful information based on clinical data to support the management and achievement of District wide activity and performance KPI's .

You will be responsible for providing support services for the management of large complex hospitals or groups of hospitals, and overseeing the submission of accurate and timely clinical costing information for the district and provide regular support and analysis on ED, ICU and Surgery data sets.

In be considered for the role you will possess the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or extensive relevant experience in a large and diverse service industry organisation, or a combination of study and work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to make judgements and have sole delegated responsibility to approve changes in standards, practices, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant internal and external policy directives.
  • Demonstrated excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult, negotiate and delegate effectively with a diverse range of people.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and complex problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities to ensure quality outcomes and timely delivery of services.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in the application and development of casemix methodologies, product costing, resource allocation and funding models, specifying and developing activity modelling, product costing and management reporting systems, policies and procedures to achieve timely accurate data
    that will add value to the organisation.
  • Advanced computer skills utilising varied and appropriate software programs with demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of a range of computer applications and analytical tools which may include Department of Health reporting systems, Health Information Exchange (HIE), Power Performance Manager
    PPM2, Microsoft Office and other reporting systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, interpretation and problem solving to support the provision of quality, timely and value adding management reports used to inform appropriate clinical and management decisions within a complex health service related organisation.
  • Current Drivers Licence and ability to travel as required.
