Our Client is a NSW Government Agency who are responsible for the delivery of services to some of the most disadvantaged individuals, families and communities in NSW. There are currently multiple opportunities for suitably experienced Client Service Officers to join their Dubbo team.

The Client Service Officer will be the frontline of Housing Services and provide a broad range of tenancy and property management services and advice. This will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing conflicts and expectations of Clients and their advocates in a human services environment
  • Work directly with Clients and their advocates to provide advice and assistance on housing options based on assessments of eligibility and client need and in keeping with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with internal specialists and external service providers and make referrals where addition support requirements are identified to better meet Client needs
  • Manage Client information to ensure confidentiality, accuracy and integrity
  • Planning and prioritising workloads to meet deadlines in a demanding work place

    To be considered for this position, candidates will:
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Have excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Be organised and have the ability to manage and prioritise conflicting priorities
  • Ideally have previous experience working in a public services or NSW Government department
  • Have a valid driver's licence
  • Be willing to undergo a National Police Clearance

    This position is for an immediate start for the right candidate and is expected to run until 4th November 2022, with the potential for extension for the right fit.
