About the organisation:

Chandler Macleod is collaborating with a State Government agency that are responsible for the management, operation and promotion of major sporting events, entertainment and recreation events.

About the role:

The Transition Manager will be responsible for managing provider transition of Cleaning services, completing transition plan deliverables, milestones and related transition activities and projects on time and on budget, ensuring the quality of the work is consistent with the agency's expectations, and for helping to resolve transition related issues as they arise.

Some other responsibilities include:

  • Development and implementation of Transition Plan
  • Management of Risk and Issues
  • Management of Transition Resources
  • Tracking and Reporting of Transition Progress
  • Development of Contract Management Processes
  • Event Support and Stakeholder & Relationship Management

About you:

Ideally you have similar experience under Australian rules and regulations, and you will be fully vaccinated against COVID.

You will also have:

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of client business functions and operations
  • Decisive yet collaborative leadership style, together with demonstrated interpersonal skills for communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly developed project management skills and relevant program / project management certification
  • Experience in a major event/venue environment and management is highly desirable
  • Creative problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities to achieve desired outcomes for all stakeholders
