Are you an experienced Mining Civil | Structural Engineer seeking a new opportunity to #unleashyourpotential in the WA Mining Industry?

One of our clients, a well-known entity in the Western Australian Mining Industry, is seeking the services of an experienced Civil | Structural Engineer to join the Chandler Macleod Team on their Port Hedland Site.

This is an initial 12 month labour hire contract FIFO role ex-Perth only on a 5:2 | 4:3 roster with a New Year start.

Reporting to the Lead Structural Engineer the role will be to assist in providing technical support, advice and solutions primarily to the capital project function.

You will be rewarded with:

  • Roster: Residential 5/2 or 4/3 or 9:5 FIFO ex-Perth

Successful candidates will have the following experience:

  • Structural or Civil Engineering qualifications acceptable for corporate membership of Institute of Engineers Australia
  • 4 plus years of civil and structural engineering experience
  • Detailed design and site based experience with material handling structures and processing plants in Australia.
  • Brown field experience in asset management of civil and structural assets
  • Proven ability to utilise Space GASS and Strand 7
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Candidates must also be able to:

  • Pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screen
  • Provide a current WA Drivers Licence
