As a member of a lean, forward looking executive team you will be expected to broadly contribute to the long term strategic agenda and ongoing sustainability efforts of an asset rich organisation facing a world of increasing rates of change and complexity.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer this critical role is responsible for the organisation's financial performance and reporting whilst leading several key corporate functions accountable for the development and maturation of enterprise wide systems, process and productivity improvements.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide expert advice to the Chief Executive and Board on finance and performance
  • Champion innovative, process and systems improvement at enterprise and functional levels.
  • Develop, implement and periodically review a 5-year functional plan aligned to the 10-year strategic priorities of the organisation.
  • Provide leadership to a range of corporate functions including; Finance, IT / Risk, Insurance, Audit and Procurement.
  • Contribute to strategic and operational decisions facing leaders across the organisation

To be considered you will have;

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and full CA or CPA membership
  • Sound financial management and applied business acumen
  • Experience reporting to a Board, ideally in an asset intensive operating environment
  • Corporate services leadership experience including Information Technology
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to deliver negotiated outcomes

As a courageous, commercially oriented executive leader, you will have proven ability to establish and maintain relationships and provide sound advice or direction that has helped re-shape a mature operating business over time.
