This large NSW Government entity is starting on it's largest ever Business transformation program and this will be a complete transformation across old Operational ICT functions with the implementation of new systems across every facet of their organisation.
This is a challenging and multi-disciplinary position, drawing on a range of specialist skills such as strategic planning, organisational change planning and implementation, negotiation, training, writing, documentation development and project management. The position is responsible for ensuring that business owners have consistency in customer centric delivery in relation to major ICT driven change initiatives, the development and implementation of change management framework, standards and practices, and ensuring alignment to organisational requirements are at industry best practice. This position owns the changes to skills, training, and education whilst introducing new technology and new ways of working.
It is expected that all candidates that apply can demonstrate experience and a competency in the below.

  • Extensive experience in delivering Organisation Change Management & Transformational Business Change;
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage large multi scale; operational transformation programs;
  • Preferred exp in IT operating model changes;
  • Travel around NSW - for training, field exercise to determine how they do change processes regionally;
  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Change Manager in the development and execution of change management strategies and plans;
  • Experience in procurement of change management services.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to quickly earn the trust of team members and key stakeholders (internally and externally); mobilise and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; and execute with limited information and ambiguity;
  • They will onboard a team of approx. 6 staff to report to them - eg. Change Analyst, Comms Manager etc.
  • Formal training or experience in using a recognized ADKAR Organisational Change Management Methodology (strongly preferred) or equivalent change management framework and methodology; Does not have to be certified in ADKAR.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of communication and stakeholder engagement strategies in a complex, multifaceted environment;
  • Initiative driven, takes the reigns and ownership of change management delivery.
