Our client is seeking to engage a Change Manager on a contract until December 2022 with highly potential extension.

Key Highlights:

  • Change Manager with potentially some supply change background
  • Working with external consultants to bring together the Change piece for a Supply Chain project
  • Communication and coordination with ground level staff along with external/internal stakeholders
  • Start would be approximately 3rd week in October
  • Flexible work arrangements but expectation initially is 2-3 days a week in the office

Position Overview

The Change Manager enables projects to meet business objectives by focusing on the people side of change, developing, and executing change management plans covering the following areas - communication, engagement, training. The Change Manager will work to enable faster adoption and proficiency of the changes impacting employees in the organization to ensure that business results are achieved.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop change management strategy based on business context.
  • Develop targeted change management plans including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan
  • Apply change management approach and methodology for people impacts caused by projects and change efforts.
  • Develop resistance management plan to mitigate or address points of resistance
  • Conduct change readiness assessments
  • Support the execution of plans by managers and business leaders
  • Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success
  • Work with project managers to incorporate change management activities into projects with business impact
  • Work with communication, training, and HR to develop plans to support project implementation
  • Assist in the delivery of Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs)

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in change management, project management, business or equivalent work experience
  • Certifications: Industry recognised certifications in the practice area and related areas of domain expertise including but not limited to CMI certification and CM methodology (e.g. Kotter, Adkar, PROSCI).
  • Experience: > 10 years' verifiable experience in change project management and CM tools.
  • Experience managing relationships with internal business customers and external providers.
  • Strong and verifiable track record of change delivering line with business and project objectives
