Chandler Macleod have an outstanding opportunity for an assistant accountant for our clients finance team.
Position is to start ASAP in Gillman, Monday to Friday

Duties:
  • Prepare the weekly invoicing and supporting documentation required and ensure they are sent to the customer in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the follow up of outstanding invoices and statements, and prepare the appropriate documentation for payment
  • Investigate account variances and prepare monthly and weekly account reconciliations
  • Process purchase orders and supplier invoices


    Skills & Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in an accounting environment.
  • Experience with SAP desirable
  • Experience in transport and logistics industries desirable
  • Ability to work in a team environment, often under tight time constraints.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies in transactional financial data, investigate, analyse and report
  • Excellent numeracy and reconciliation skills.
