Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS4 Case Management Support Officer on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.

Position Overview

The APS4 Case Management Support is a team membership position that will work within defined parameters relating to their area of responsibility. It will apply well-established policy, principles, practices and procedures to achieve outcomes that supports and contributes to client's objectives.

The position works to effectively manage the intake and assessment of AAT matters and associated correspondence, including collation and filing of Tribunal documents within statutory timeframes. The APS4 Case Management Support also assists in organizing assessments to support case managers, drafting documents and actioning incoming correspondence.

The role supports Case Managers within the branch, drafting documents and processes to assist in progressing AAT Applications to early resolution, conciliation and hearing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and registering new AAT matters.
  • Actioning and directing correspondence.
  • Analysing and assessing AAT Applications
  • Preparing and filing Tribunal documents as required for AAT Applications received by the AAB within strict time frames.
  • Assessing and responding to risk from processes, including in terms of privacy considerations and priority.
  • Organising assessments to support the decision-making process for case managers
