About the company
We are currently recruiting for one of Australia's leading telecommunication providers in their Career Transition team. This organisation has a large presence in the market and you will have scope to make an impact with the work you do. You will be working in a wonderful team with supportive and caring managers who will help you to flourish in the role.

About the role
As a Career Transition Specialist, you will be supporting individuals through their redundancy and provide assistance catered to every different situation. This role is paramount in ensuring that displaced employees are supported in finding their new career pathway or transition out of the workforce. You will provide one on one weekly support facilitating coaching, assessing fit for internal opportunities, and referring individuals to workshops and other training specific to their needs. In this role you will have the opportunity to make a difference in someone's day.

Key requirements

  • You will have a strong recruitment and/or HR background with the life experience to have meaningful conversations.
  • Sound organisational skills with effective workload prioritization skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve targets and strict deadlines.
  • Developed ability to use initiative coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence paired with empathy.
  • Ability to pick up on cues and probe for more information where necessary.
  • You must be able to commit to a 38 hour per week until May 2021
