Chandler Macleod have the opportunity to assist in the recruitment of a temp to permanent Care Adivser for our client based in Mount Waverley.

The role of the Care Adviser is to manage prospective customers through the first stages of their phone and email contact with our Client in a manner which is welcoming, well-informed, carefully documented and maximises the likelihood of progressing to sign-up for service delivery. This includes providing prospective customers with information about our Client's services, funding arrangements, and transitioning customers through to service delivery.

Care Advisers are responsible for preparing detailed handovers for our Service Delivery teams.
The ways in which success of Care Adviser's is measured include: call handling efficiency, quality of information captured on prospective customers, completion rates of follow-up procedures, and conversion rates for customers in priority categories.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service to a diverse range of prospective customers, families, internal and external stakeholders
  • A friendly, engaging and inclusive phone and email manner
  • Strong commercial acumen evidenced by experience in successfully building a customer base for a product, service or event
  • Strong digital literacy and data entry skills and proficiency in using different software, databases and programs
  • Experience delivering outcomes within strict timeframes
  • Commitment to the company's philosophy of providing responsive, flexible and customer focused services, and the mission and values of our Client
  • Knowledge of the funding and service system for Community care (both Aged and Disability) is highly desirable. Previous experience in the Community care sector and a contact centre environment is highly desired
