Call Centre Operator

  • $29.58 per hour plus super on the Clerks Award.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Call Centre Operator to join one of our biggest and most reputable clients located in Braeside.

Objective of the Role:
To ensure complete Customer Service and Call Centre duties from the receipt of an enquiry, through the life of the job to the completion of the invoice, and reception duties.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Process all enquiries received through faxes, phone or e-mail.
  • Enter all information into the Access database.
  • To report real and potential problems, as well as any unsatisfactory practices to your manager for action.
  • Undertake all reception duties
  • Data entry of information into a wide range of systems.
  • Ensure that all correspondence for the jobs is completed within the required timeframe.
  • To proactively seek information and stay abreast on / all agreements that are made between Steamatic and their customers. E.g.: National or State agreements.
  • Follow up on replacement carpet quotes, dry cleaning or other subcontractor quotes when requested by relevant Administration Team Leader.
  • Ensure status of job is updated at the progress level of each job.
  • Obtain feedback from the insured re satisfaction with the completed works.
  • To liaise with all Assessment Managers and other relevant staff in communicating corporate leads.

To be a successful candidate for this position, you will be required to possess the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong problem solving abilities, especially in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced computer literacy skills
  • Good spatial awareness and the ability to read diagrams
  • Experience in a call centre / customer service role
  • Advanced administration skills

Qualifications:

  • Previous demonstrated experience in administration.
  • Previous demonstrated customer service experience.

The successful candidate must have a valid Drivers Licence and a reliable vehicle.
