Chandler Macleod in partnership with RMAA Australia, are seeking a qualified and experienced CAD Engineer (computer aided-design) for their newly announced Ford Australia F-150 conversion program.

RMAA Australia has been contracted by Ford Motor Company of Australia Limited to convert the Ford F-150 pick up truck, from left hand drive to right hand drive at its brand new facility in Mickleham (Northern Suburbs)
This exciting new venture, involving the USA's top selling vehicle, requires an experienced Facility and Tooling Engineer to support the team in bringing the Ford F150 to customers in Australia and New Zealand.

THE ROLE: What's On Offer!
▪ Engineering automotive concept designs.
▪ Participating in formal design review meetings, including preparation of presentation material.
▪ Participating in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, and other relevant standards as part of defined projects.
▪ Creating complex 3D Designs, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
▪ Working with engineers to ensure clarity of the requirements and specifications of CAD engineering activities.
▪ Developing and maintaining appropriate documentation and processes to ensure the systems you have designed comply with appropriate standards.
▪ Supporting the procurement and/or manufacturing of design parts and assemblies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our expectations from you!
▪ You have strong CAD experience in the automotive industry or another manufacturing industry.
▪ You have experience with CATIA, NX and/or Solidworks.
▪ You have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of engineering.
▪ You are experienced in facilities tooling design, installation and commissioning.
▪ You have experience in the use of safety risk assessment analysis and engineering safety review processes.
▪ You have experience in product prototyping.
▪ You have the ability to conceptualise, understand and assess product and manufacturing process design.
▪ You possess commercial acumen, resilience, and a flexible approach to dealing with changing priorities and demands.
