About the Organisation:

You will be working for a prominent Government Agency whose impact on the Public Health Industry enables Australians with Disabilities to have access to tools and services to lead meaningful lives. You will be part of a team that provides direct support and assistance to the community and puts a focus on customer service.

How will You Contribute?
You will provide direct support to disability support planners and their participants to ensure strong customer service delivery. This is a face-to-face customer service role that is based in an office environment. You will contribute to the success of the team by managing telephone enquiries, appointment scheduling and processes and the provision of exceptional face to face customer service.

You will be comfortable in undertaking a broad range of administrative and support duties for planners and be able to use a variety of computer software systems. You will use your exceptional customer service skills to assist participants with having access to information required.

What Will Your Duties Include?

  • Provide administrative support to the triage team
  • Management of emails and appointment bookings in calendar systems for staff
  • Coordinate the facilities and ensure office is neat and prepared for participant accessibility
  • Data entry of participant details in to the systems and records
  • Coordination of meetings and organisation where required
    Recording of information, complaints and enquiries as required to ensure all customer service matters are responded to efficiently

What Will You Bring to the Role?

  • Experience in customer service and general administration in an office environment is essential
  • Experience within the Disability Sector or Public Sector is essential
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal is essential
  • A passion for the disability sector and your community is essential

you MUST be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered for this opportunity
