Our Client is seeking to engage a Business Services and Payments Officer on a temporary basis, Full Time Position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate procurement sourcing requirements with facility management project managers and process sourcing requisitions as per procurement guideline and related established policies and standards.
  • Manage Purchase Orders and coordinate/submit supplier claims for on time settlement supplier claims.
  • Coordinate and actioning on contract variations into purchase order changes and effectively negotiate the requirements with procurement operations team.
  • Provides assistance to investigate and analyse claim exceptions, disputes and collaborates with suppliers and goods/service recipient to ensure effective resolution in alignment with agreed Purchase Order terms and conditions.
  • Uses effective negotiation and influencing skills to address external supplier claim issues and manage stakeholder expectations where necessary.
  • Provides assistance to analyse supplier claims performance and influences decision makers to ensure deliverables are achieved.
  • Responds to routine payment queries and escalates where required.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of Procurement processes and change initiatives.
  • Contributes to develop and modify business rules and work instructions for new and enhanced procurement operations and claim management processes.
  • Contribute to investigate and resolve potential fraudulent activities.
  • Facilitate the month end requirement information in order to finalise month end financial reports.
  • Participate for business unit expense review activities.
  • Relevant experience in providing business and financial services in a commercially focussed organisation
  • Relevant experience in using a computer based financial and procurement management system
  • Relevant experience in financial and business analysis and problem solving
