Our client is a leading Australian Bank which adopts customer focused approach and embodies great work life balance initiatives. They are currently seeking a BDM - Trade Finance with exceptional corporate banking experience or commercial experience.

You must have a minimum 5 years experience in the area of Trade Finance and Business Development.

The Role:

  • Build, maintain and manage the trade finance sales pipeline
  • Proactively identify any new opportunities within the market to stimulate growth
  • Grow the Trade Finance Balance sheet and revenue base
  • Build strategic, long lasting and trusting relationships with key stakeholders
  • Proactively identify opportunities with existing customers and cross sell bank products ensuring it is always in the best interest of the customer
  • Build relationships with prospective clients to ensure revenue growth opportunities are maximised
  • Work alongside senior management to settle terms with customers
  • Train and educate corporate customers on the products available

You Need:

  • 5+ years' experience in a Trade Finance Relationship Management / BDM role
  • Strong corporate / commercial banking experience
  • Consultative, strategic relationship management and sales experience
  • Great relationships within the trade finance industry
