    We're looking for a highly experienced, passionate and energetic Business Development Manager to hunt out new opportunities within the Melbourne CBD.
    As a leading supplier of high quality, mobile management solutions to the Resources sector, our client is currently in a period of substantial growth across Australia.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and searching for potential new sales opportunities
  • Regularly call on clients within your geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your networks
  • Prepare sales presentations and work with the team to develop proposals
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service
  • Budgeting and forecasting for your region
  • Develop a network of key industry contacts

    To be successful for this role you must have:
  • Proven track record of success selling complex industrial solutions over at least 5 years
  • A sound knowledge of the mining & resources sector and adjacent sectors including EPCM is key to the gravitas required to be effective in this role.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess the gravitas to be an effective ambassador for the SFI brand
  • Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members
  • Committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels

  • A high attention to detail with the ability to think creatively and accomplish objectives within given timeframes.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure, be highly organised and maintain a professional approach is key
  • A Qualification in Engineering or business is highly regarded
  • Trained in one or more sales methodology e.g.: (SPIN)
