Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Business Analyst on a contract for 9 months with potential extension.

Position Overview

The successful candidate should have experience in working with infrastructure projects to gather requirements in conjunction with a technical solution architect to define transition and end states. An iterative approach will be taken to initially define and refine the requirements as the solution evolves.

Working as part of a dynamic ICT environment, you will be required to work closely with multiple stakeholders to define current and future processes and document business/technical requirements. Works closely with the Architects and Technical team ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product's features.

A minimum of 5 years BA experience is essential.

Business Analyst

The successful candidate/s will:

  • Work closely with our Architecture and Platforms teams to provide requirements/design briefs to the Solution Architect.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the stakeholders promoting a collaborative partnership in delivering strategic objectives
  • Develop and maintain project artifacts, (business requirements, process flows, procedures, support plans, and Transition to Operation documents)
  • Identify and resolve complex system and process design issues
  • Provide advice and assistance to system users
  • Assist Project Manager with the management and reporting of defects.
  • Understanding of Microsoft DevOps tool
  • Understanding of cloud solutions particularly Microsoft Azure.

  • Demonstrate excellent oral, written and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic and initiative
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to work within a program Analysis framework and strategy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams to gather requirements
  • Ability to support IT Change Management activities.
  • Ability and discipline to report to management steams in a concise but informative way.
