Our client is seeking to engage a Business Analyst on a contract for 6 months with potential extension.
Position Overview
The candidate will need to be a self-starter, detail-oriented, flexible in a fast-paced work environment and committed to support in various areas of our Services Operations team for APAC/Japan. It's a fast-paced environment with a rapidly growing team and constant change, so the role requires someone who excels within that type of environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and operational support to ensure Services Operations runs smoothly
  • Support documentation and data accuracy activities
  • Maintain accurate and up to date Supplier contracts (work orders)
  • Support PO budget tracking
  • Support Supplier invoice approval & reconciliation processes
  • Support the billings and credit processes
  • Support new Sub-Contractor onboarding process and enablement
  • Resourcing management support (Staffing Resources, Bill Rates, Cost Rates accuracy etc.)
  • Provide internal opportunity management support to Services Sales
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (field services, accounts payable, finance, procurement, IT, etc)
  • Challenge legacy policies and procedures that complicate quote, order, invoice, credit, commissions, and revenue processing, and formulate creative solutions or workarounds based on that analysis.
  • Participate in new process development and process improvement projects, and other ad hoc projects.
  • Share best practices with and provide cross-training for peers, team members and outside business units to improve the quality and efficiency of support and contribute to the knowledge base.
  • Apply knowledge, skills and judgment to make moderately difficult decisions and resolve issues.
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
  • Proven experience in opportunity management or sales operations and support experience. Previous experience working within a Tech environment highly regarded
  • Demonstrated participation in process improvement initiatives and/or project management
  • Ability to excel in a fast-growing/fast-paced environment, delivering accuracy while managing to deadlines where adaptability is imperative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; articulate in written and verbal communication; willingness to appropriately debate difficult issues; ability to think quickly.
  • Ability to understand broader business and financial issues and juggle multiple projects and tasks.
  • Must have a strong investigative mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations and while working within a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented & amp; ability to work independently.
  • Experience and working knowledge with MS Office and Google Apps for Work productivity tools.
  • Team player who demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire for collaboration support & services.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
