Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Business Analyst on a contract for 12 months.

About the Role:

Our client has a requirement for one experienced Business Analyst to work with the Covert & Technical Operations Change Program to deliver the Next Generation Law Enforcement Monitoring Facility (NG-LEMF) capability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Business/System Analysis and business process design of IT applications/systems
  • Requirements elicitation and facilitating stakeholder workshops
  • Produce functional and non-functional specifications, use cases and user stories
  • Analyse and map business processes, user pathways and information flows
  • Manage business stakeholders and acting as a conduit between business and the program/project team
  • Work with business stakeholders for User Acceptance Testing
  • Work effectively in a small team environment
  • Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other team members; an
  • Ability to record and maintain files/information in accordance with agency requirements.
  • Ability to quickly develop knowledge of the agency's existing processes and workflows

Skills & Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Business Analyst role
  • Agency Security clearance level required: NV1 (SECRET), or ability to obtain one.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience with developing business user requirements, functional and non-functional specifications and use cases and user stories in Agile environment
  • Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholder
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively


  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry certifications.
