Position Overview

Our client is seeking to engage a Business Administration Manager for Permanent Position. As a Business Administration Manager, you will take a leading position in managing all administrative processes at our Asia Pacific constellation office in Canberra, closely aligned with the Shared Function Corporate management. The growing office provides primarily solutions to the Defense industry. You will be an excellent all-rounder with a focus on business administration and contract management. You will be responsible for local administrative tasks across legal, finance, facilities, Human Resources (HR), and IT- in other words, you will ensure that our office in Canberra runs smoothly in line with our culture and Scandinavian mindset.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administration of contractual, legal, HR and business-related topics
  • Some Financial topics, but Finance is mainly centrally managed by the headquarter in Denmark
  • Implementing our Corporate policies and ensuring compliance with Australian laws and regulations,
  • Contact with Shared Functions service providers, such as banks, insurance providers, tax authorities, HR & salary suppliers, as well as other suppliers in alignment with Corporate Finance and Corporate HR
  • Oversee recruiting and onboarding of new staff
  • Handling local procurement and budget follow-up
  • Supporting business when customer events and submitting tenders,
  • Identifying risks and solutions in tender material in close cooperation with Corporate Legal and the business,
  • Contract management of selected IT contracts, including follow up with Project Managers and Controllers,
  • Managing and negotiating changes to customer delivery contracts and client's standard contracts such as Non-Disclosure-Agreements,
  • Being responsible for the compliance with import and export control and security regulations and policies
  • Providing input to improve Corporate policies to match local requirements,
  • Being responsible for an efficient office environment aligned with the client's workplace culture and way of thinking,
  • Co-ordinating any agreed local social/team building activities etc.

  • Have a flexible approach to your work due to challenges related to working in a global company placed fare way and are willing to travel to the client's headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark.
  • Have an entrepreneurial approach to your work and will thrive in a small team in a Scandinavian lead company.
  • It is an advantage but not a requirement if you have experience with working for a local subsidiary to an International group and working across time zones. In addition, flair for Excel, PowerPoint, would be an advantage

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline security clearance.
