Our client:

Our client prides themselves on a great culture and work life balance. They are a well established Mortgage Broking firm with a relatively large team. They are currently experiencing growth and looking for a Senior Loan Processor or Mortgage broker to work closely with their Senior broker.
This is a unique role where you can service your own leads that come through and be remunerated generously with no sales targets. If you are looking for a role that incentivises and remunerates for hard work and high performance, this is the position for you.

This will be the ideal role for you if you have experience working within another brokerage dealing with a variety loans. You must have great client service and accountability.

Role and responsibilities:
  • Touch base with existing client base to introduce yourself
  • Reviewing and structuring loan applications alongside an industry leader in residential broking and dedicated mentor
  • Liaising with external stakeholders involved in mortgage transactions ranging from accountants, solicitors, buyer's agents and financial planners to deliver a seamless experience for the client
  • Assessing mortgage applications and scenarios ranging from simple PAYG through to SMSF and specialist/non-conforming loans
  • Developing your network of strong business relationships with our panel of over 40 lender BDMs and credit managers
  • Support customers in providing application information
  • Review customer situation and broker notes to shortlist lender selection
  • Ensure fact find is correct and work out calculations
  • Liaise with credit assessors and ensure there are no outstanding requests
  • 12 months experience as a Loan Writer/Processor and Open to Graduates
  • Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking is highly regarded but not essential
  • Great communication and written ability
  • Ability to think on your feet and outside the box
  • A hunger to grow both personally and professionally and not being afraid to ask questions!
