Chandler Macleod is currently seeking a trade qualified Boilermaker for a short term, temporary assignment at steel manufacturing site in the Mayfield area.


What's on offer?
  • Monday - Friday roster (6am - 2:30pm)
  • Hourly rate from $47
  • No rainy day stand downs

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Boilermaker / Fabrication trade qualification - essential
  • Mig welding experience, oxy cutting experience - essential
  • Previous experience working on plant and equipment within a similar heavy industry will be viewed favourably
  • Forklift essential
  • Preventative maintenance, breakdown, and shutdown experience desirable
  • Ability to fabricate and weld to test standards

The successful applicant will be required to:
  • Carry out planned maintenance, fabrication, and inspection tasks
  • Have puncture of surface permits knowledge, attaching bollards and frames to concrete with the use of rotary hammer drill
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and provide feedback via the maintenance management system
  • Complete all tasks safely and to a high quality
  • Support shutdown tasks requiring your input as an individual and working with other members of the team
  • Ensure availability and reliability of a variety of machinery
