Chandler Macleod have partnered with a leading steel recycling plant in Hexham and are currently looking for enthusiastic, hardworking Belt Pickers. This role is casual with a view for permanency for the right candidate.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

  • $30.86 per hour
  • Ongoing work, Monday-Friday
  • All training is provided on the job



DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Working on a conveyor belt system, sorting steel
  • Sorting through scrap metals
  • General labouring duties
  • Assisting with plant maintenance



WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH:

  • Current forklift ticket (desirable)
  • Mechanical aptitude (desirable)
  • Lockout/tag out exposure
