Chandler Macleod have partnered with a leading steel recycling plant in Hexham and are currently looking for enthusiastic, hard working belt pickers to jump into casual, ongoing roles starting ASAP.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Current forklift ticket (LF) preferable
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Lockout/ Tag out exposure


Duties will include:

  • Working on a conveyor belt system
  • Sorting through scrap metals
  • General labouring duties
  • Assisting with plant maintenance


To be eligible for this role you must undergo a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
We are looking for reliable candidates with a great work ethic and excellent attitude towards safety.
