Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Behavioural Insights Advisor on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.

About the Role

The APS5 Behavioural Insight Advisor (Labour Hire) role is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will be required to provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.

The role will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of research and compliance matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Providing assistance in researching, designing and implementing activities, processes and systems supporting good compliance, using contemporary behavioural insights and human-centred design approaches.
  • Providing advice to the Compliance Program Branch on applying behavioural insights to the design and implementation of NDIS compliance activities.
  • Assisting in the evaluation of behaviourally informed interventions using a range of statistical techniques.
  • Providing assistance with less complex written communication including preparation of proposals, evaluation reports, Executive and Ministerial Briefings, correspondence with key stakeholders and members of the public.
  • Maintaining records, providing advice and reporting on compliant and non-compliant matters.
