Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS5 to EL1 Aurion Administrator/Technical on a contract for 12 months with potential extension of 2x12 months.

About the Role:

Our preference is for a candidate with a significant experience and a broad technical skill set in the Aurion Administrator role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Within the Aurion Support team, the successful applicant will:

  • Possess a high level of Aurion technical skills
  • Provide Aurion system support and maintenance including incident and problem resolution, access and security, data maintenance, data integrity, quality assurance and systems integration tasks
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the department's Aurion system, including liaising with other HR professionals to interpret and implement legislated and internal changes
  • Assist in the provision of advice on the ability of Aurion to meet the changing HR needs of the department.
  • Assist in the provision of second and third tier help desk services based on referral from the departments HR Help Desk (HR Assist)
  • Assist with the management of, and undertake testing of, Aurion system changes, including patching and upgrades, and implement these changes in line with HR and ICT requirements
  • Assist and train staff in the use of Aurion
  • Contribute to departmental projects, in particular, those that have an impact on Aurion and other HR teams

Experience in Aurion system administration and support including but not limited to:

  • Running fortnightly pay runs and associated post pay run activities
  • Security user management
  • Aurion Query Tool (AQT) reporting
  • Forms and workflow management
  • Position and organisation structure management
  • BPA experience

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have Baseline/NV1 security clearance or the ability to obtain.
