Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Assurance Assessors on a contract for 3 months with potential extension.

About the Role:

The department requires eight (8) APS4 equivalent Assurance Assessors to assist in undertaking assessments as part of the continuous assessment of payment integrity and provider performance measures. The deliverables include satisfactorily conducting accurate and timely assessments of employment services provider records and related documentary evidence submitted to the department to confirm compliance with the relevant Guideline and Deed requirements.

They will be working collaboratively with key internal stakeholders, which may include:

  • managing and taking responsibility for individual elements of the assessment phase, monitoring work progress, and managing competing priorities within strict timeframes.
  • undertaking and writing analysis on assurance assessments and preparing recommendations for decision makers.

Skill and Experience

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following capabilities/experience and/or qualifications:

Essential

  • Provide administrative support.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend Deed and Guideline requirements.
  • Accurate assessment and recording of data.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work in tight timeframes.
  • Undertake tasks of moderate complexity and work effectively under general direction.
  • Has accountability for completion of allocated tasks, being able to self-start, organise and review own work.
